800 MHz spectrum from NANUC
Below is a comparison of a pentasaccharide (Dr. Bundle's group) recorded by
NANUC's 800 MHz spectrometer (exp: 1, top) and on our own
600 MHz system (exp: 2, bottom). What is not easily seen is the much higher signal to
noise at 800 MHz due to the approximately 1.8 times higher sensitivity. The spectra are
shown at the same Hz/mm ratio to demonstrate the increased dispersion: the 4.5 ppm shown
are 3600 Hz at 800 and 2700 Hz at 600 MHz, hence a 33% wider spectrum at 800. Click on the
