NANUC: 800 MHz NMR on campus
On August 10th, the 800 MHz National High Field Nuclear
Magnetic Resonance Center (NANUC) was officially opened. It is located South of the
Heritage Building and more information can be obtained at
http://www.nanuc.ca. It might be of interest to note that
NANUC also has a 500 MHz LC-NMR spectrometer. Both the 800 and the 500 MHz instruments are
of the Varian Inova type. What mechanism should be used for screening potentially
qualifying samples from our Department and how to submit them is currently under
discussion. More information will be provided in NMR News as it becomes available.
