Sample submission form for NMR service
The sample submission form to request NMR service is a document in PDF format that can be read by Adobe Acrobat Reader (often called the "Acrobat Reader" - if you don't have it click here for a free download). The form has been modified so that four fields, namely name, research director, lab# and phone#, can be filled in while using the Reader. These fields are highlighted in light grey. Once this information is entered, the form can be printed and photocopied. This saves time filling in the same information over and over again, and at the same time makes the information entered more readable. Unfortunately, it is not possible to save this filled-in form on disk unless you have the full Adobe Acrobat package (often referred to as the Acrobat "Writer"). The "Writer" is not freeware.

Guidelines on how to submit NMR samples
Fundamentally there are two ways to obtain NMR spectra in our Department: (a) register as a user of the NMR system and measure your own samples or (b) submit your samples to the NMR support group and have them measured for you. In many cases it is a true choice, however under certain circumstances samples must be run by NMR staff. All the details are summarized on an information sheet which you can print out.

If there are any questions, any of the NMR staff can be contacted to clarify the situation.
