Lectures on how to use VNMRJ

The instruction of new students/PDFs in the use of our NMR systems is typically done in late May or early June in the form of a series of lectures (two @ 75 minutes or three @ 50 minutes) with real-time data acquisition and processing of 1D and 2D spectra on a spectrometer (large screen LCD projection).

The lectures are repeated as part of Chemistry 461 (usually in January).

The next lecture series will be held Monday June
8 and Wednesday June 10, 2009 and likely also in January 2010 (part of Chem 461).

(*) reduced content, focus only on "how to use VNMRJ"

Who should attend?

new users who did not attend any lectures before
users who feel they are a little shaky in the use of the spectrometers

List of group NMR representatives

Note that some groups have two or even three reps simply because they sent a different person every time the training session was held. If the person from the previous session is still here, that results in two or possibly even more reps.
This list may contain names of people who are no longer in the Department although accuracy is attempted through periodic updates.
