Erratum for publication number 40
The anomeric protons were assigned based on literature data: Carbohydrate Research 296, p. 212 (1996) [Table 1]. Subsequent experiments in January, 2000 showed that the assignments of H1'' and H1' were erroneous and should be corrected as follows:

The conclusions of the publication are not affected by the interchanged assignments. The authors apologize for the error and are grateful to a reader pointing out the problem.
